Design Features

•Gearbox: 95% efficient AGMA grade 10 precision manufactured helical-bevel style gears. Low noise and operating temperature (Typically less than 140 ºF). Tapered roller bearings used throughout to bear radial and thrust loads . •Drop Bearing: Self aligning bearing for Increased side load capacity. Three seals prevent the oil from leaving the gearbox. Standard "dry well" designs use two. Stainless steel grease fitting and line allows for convenient servicing of the bearing. Constructed of rugged reinforced cast steel. •Impellers: Standard impeller is canted shear in the mud to rapidly form a homogeneous mixture. Hydrofoils are available upon request. Stainless steel is available on all impeller designs. •Drive Motor: High efficiency explosion proof (Class 1, Group D) c-face electric motors ranging from 3-30 hp. Larger sizes are available upon request. The c-face design eliminates misalignment with the gearbox, which reduces the load on the input bearings. •Self Contained: No base is required. The drop bearing housing may be connected directly to the infrastructure. The benefit is a low profile piece of equipment with a small foot print. Oilfield skids are available upon request.
